Our story

A Project of Love: Creating a Home for Special Needs

The first project that sparked my journey was more than just a construction job; it was a labor of love. I set out to build a space that would accommodate the unique needs of my two sons with special needs. I accomplished this goal in a matter of months, while working full time as a teacher, doing work on the addition after school and on weekends. Every screw was placed, every wire run, and every wall was crafted by my hands, with my sons’ well-being in mind.

While the project was a labor of love, I wasn’t alone in my journey. I received guidance from master craftsmen who generously shared their time and wisdom. These mentors imparted their expertise, enriching my skills and fueling my passion for home improvement.

My journey began with this monumental project, and my passion for fixing and enhancing homes has only grown since then. Driven by a desire to continually improve my craft, I eagerly embraced opportunities to tackle increasingly complex jobs.

It wasn’t long before the people I helped started remarking that I should consider it as a career. Their praise wasn’t just about the results; it was a recognition of the exceptional quality and dedication I brought to every project. This was the moment I realized that I had found my second calling – a calling rooted in a passion for helping people and working with my hands.

One of the factors that motivated me to start my business, was to provide others with quality work, and to be fully trustworthy, never letting my customers experience the frustration I have experienced. Because trust is so important to me, if there is ever a job that doesn’t fit well with my skills, I will let you know that honestly, and refer you to someone else within my network for help.
